Service

Service is the heart of AA’s legacy of recovery, unity, and service. Taking on a service position—whether at the group, district, or area level—helps carry the message to the still-suffering alcoholic and strengthens our Fellowship. Trusted servants support the day-to-day work of AA, ensuring that meetings, communications, and outreach efforts remain available to all who seek help. Through service, members deepen their connection to AA, practice the principles of the program, and experience the joy of giving back.
